About me
Welcome to my corner of the digital world! I’m Amy Rose, a passionate educator, consultant, examiner, and school improvement lead with a wealth of experience in driving educational excellence. With over a decade of expertise in teaching, leadership, and professional development, I’ve had the privilege of supporting schools and teachers across the country to empower students and create thriving learning environments.
As a specialist in English Language, English Literature, and Psychology, I’ve guided students from Year 7 to A-level, helping them achieve their academic goals and transform challenges into opportunities. My leadership journey has encompassed roles such as Head of English, Senior Regional Lead Practitioner, and SCITT Course Leader, where I’ve led on strategic improvements, teacher training, and innovative classroom practices. Whether designing CPD programmes or delivering trust-wide strategies, I’m driven by a commitment to collaboration, inclusion, and creative teaching methods.
Beyond my professional life, I am also a proud single mum to two beautiful boys who are the light of my life. Balancing the demands of personal and professional success hasn’t always been easy, and I truly understand the struggle to juggle it all. Like many of you, I’ve faced sleepless nights, looming deadlines, and the challenge of staying present for both my career and my family. It’s these experiences that have shaped my resilience, empathy, and drive to inspire others to embrace their potential—whether in the classroom or beyond.
Thank you for joining me on this journey. I hope my reflections, insights, and stories offer encouragement and inspiration as we all navigate the challenges of modern life with determination, passion, and a touch of creativity.
